We are currently seeking Hausa native linguists with a passion for design to join an exciting template design review project in collaboration with Canva. This is a potential long-term opportunity, starting in August 2025, with testing scheduled for mid-July.
🔹 Project Overview:
• Service: Template Design Review
• Language Pair: English > Hausa
• Domain: Graphic Design
• Tool: Arty 2.0 (training provided)
• Status: Potential project
• Deadline: Ongoing/Long-term
• Workload: Up to 200 hours/month
🔹 Responsibilities:
• Review Canva templates (presentations, social media posts, logos, invitations, videos)
• Ensure:
o Translation accuracy
o Cultural appropriateness
o Design consistency
• Conduct final quality checks before market release
• Provide feedback on language and design
• Adapt localized templates against source designs for visual and linguistic accuracy
🔹 Requirements:
• Native-level fluency in Hausa
• Strong understanding of visual design, layout, and typography
• Prior experience in template design, localization, or translation
• Eye for detail and cultural relevance
• Comfortable working in Canva and other cloud-based design tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
🔹 Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Experience in quality assurance for design or localization projects
