Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CV / Resume Writer to create high-quality, tailored resumes and cover letters for professionals across different industries. The ideal candidate understands modern hiring practices, ATS systems, and how to position candidates competitively in local and international job markets.
Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and optimize CVs/resumes tailored to specific roles and industries
Create compelling cover letters aligned with job descriptions
Adapt CVs for different markets (UK / EU / US, if applicable)
Optimize resumes for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Transform raw career information into clear, results-driven content
Highlight achievements using metrics and impact-focused language
Ensure consistent formatting, structure, and professional tone
Revise documents based on client feedback and job targets
Stay updated with hiring trends, resume formats, and recruiter expectations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CV / Resume Writer or Career Writer
Strong written English (near-native or native level preferred)
Deep understanding of ATS systems and keyword optimization
Ability to write for different seniority levels (junior to executive)
Experience across multiple industries (tech, business, finance, etc. is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and formatting
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients/projects
Portfolio or samples of previous CVs/resumes (mandatory)
Nice to Have:
Background in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition
Experience with LinkedIn profile optimization
Knowledge of job markets in the UK, EU, or US
Ability to advise on career positioning and personal branding
