For this project, participants must be either Egyptian or African.
Project Details:
• Service Type: AI Video Data Collection
• Domain / Subject Matter: General
• Word Count / Volume: 3 to 4 videos for each participant, 20 to 40 seconds long each
• Tool / Platform: Video Recording
Special Instructions:
Participants Instructions:
Participants should position themselves in front of the camera with their face fully visible (neutral position).
Perform head movements as follows:
Rotate head left (45° then 90° clockwise), return to neutral.
Rotate head right (45° then 90° anti-clockwise), return to neutral.
Move head up and down (45° each), starting with up.
Hold each position for 4–5 seconds.
Technical Specifications for Each Video
• Resolution: ≥1080p
• Frame Rate: 25–30 fps
• Format: .mp4
• Face Visibility: Face must remain fully visible and within the frame throughout the recording.
• One person per video.
Accessories & Appearance
• Spectacles are allowed (no sunglasses).
• 500 participants from the total should wear reading glasses.
• Natural beard or moustache is acceptable.
• Each video should include different non-face-blocking accessories (e.g., caps), varied hairstyles, and facial expressions (laughing, normal, smiling).
Lighting & Environment
• Each video must be captured under a different lighting condition:
o Dim
o Normal
o Backlight
o Bright
• Indoor and outdoor settings are acceptable.
Metadata Requirements
A metadata file must accompany the video folders and include:
• Lighting condition
• Skin tone
• Gender
• Age group
• Consent confirmation
• Participant ID
• Indoor/outdoor
• Video duration
• Mobile device brand and model
Additional Requirements
• Each video should have one person only.
• Face should not go out of frame during recording.
