We are URGENTLY looking for a Welsh/UK English linguist to join our team as a consultant as we are receiving an increasing number of requests for cogntive debriefing projects in the UK. We have one project to assign immediately.
Cognitive debriefing is the process whereby the wording of questionnaires and other materials to be used in clinical trials is tested to make sure subjects understand the intent of the questions, and that their content is culturally acceptable and contextually relevant to the target populations. Cognitive debriefing verifies that translations of all items are interpreted in the same way across target populations and regions and have the same content validity.
Cognitive debriefing projects include recruiting patients (and sometimes clinicians), keeping us updated on your progress on a regular basis, language testing (via interviews over the phone) and the compiling of a report summarizing your findings. We pay based on the total number of hours it will take you to complete the project, including recruiting, interviewing and report writing. Please note that you must be WILLING TO RECRUIT PATIENTS in order to be considered for this job.
