We are looking for an experienced legal translator to translate approximately 3,000 words from Latin American Spanish to English.
The source material consists of two legal documents (from Argentina and Uruguay) totaling approximately 3,500 words. These will be uploaded to our memoQ server where we will run an AI-based translation for you to review.
The ideal candidate must:
1) Be a native English speaker.
2) Have an expert command of Spanish, with an understanding of Latin American legal terminology and syntax.
3) Have over 10 years of professional translation experience with various legal content.
4) Have a proofed record of translating more than 250K words of legal content on an annual basis.
5) Be familiar with checking out projects from a memoQ server. Candidates with a memoQ license will be prioritized. We can provide an ELM license if needed.
6) Be willing to work on an AI-TPE process. We will manage the AI integration with memoQ. You will need to review the AI-generated translation for correctness and accuracy.
7) We pay 65% of your base rate for this PE process.
