Key Responsibilities:
Translate, edit, and proofread (TEP) game content from English to Tagalog/Thai, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
Collaborate with localization teams to adapt in-game text, UI, and dialogue while maintaining the original tone and style.
Review and implement quality assurance (LQA) for localized content to meet industry standards.
Potentially contribute to voice-over scripts or dubbing projects if experienced in game dubbing.
Requirements:
Proven experience in TEP (Translation, Editing, Proofreading) for games or multimedia content (EN→Tagalog/Thai).
Familiarity with game terminology, slang, and cultural nuances in Tagalog/Thai.
Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ, Trados) and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
Passion for gaming and understanding of localization best practices.
Preferred:
Portfolio showcasing game localization or dubbing samples.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a remote setting.
