R&R International Translation Specialists Inc., a Canadian company with over 20 years of experience in the translation industry, is seeking experienced English-to-Swedish freelance translators for ongoing assignments in the technical and institutional sectors.
❖ Responsibilities:
– Translate, revise, or post-edit various documents from English into Swedish
– Ensure high linguistic and terminological quality while meeting deadlines
– Conduct necessary terminological and subject-specific research
– Perform final quality checks on texts (consistency, terminology, and flow)
– Communicate professionally and promptly with project managers
– Deliver clean, client-ready files on time
❖ Profile:
– Degree in Translation or equivalent qualification
– Minimum 8 years of translation experience, including at least 3 years in technical translation (experience in engineering, water, or environmental fields is a plus)
– Comfortable post-editing AI-generated texts with strong editorial skills
– Proficient with CAT tools such as Trados Studio or MemoQ (projects will be handled and delivered in .xliff format)
– Familiar with technical terminology related to industrial products (e.g., pumps, sensors, treatment systems)
– Experience in revision is an asset
