Project Overview
• Type of Work: Segmentation and translation using the Salami Technique, commonly used in simultaneous interpretation.
This involves breaking down complex source text into short, clear segments and translating them sequentially, without access to full context or the ability to revise previous segments.
• Format: Text-based only (no audio at this stage)
• Annotation: Human translation with source-side span boundary annotation (Long Context HA–style). UI templates will be provided.
Project Details
• Total Volume: ~35,000 English source words
• Domain: Not specified yet (general content or domains you are most comfortable with)
Interview / Test Requirement
• A 15-minute interview is required, including a short interpretation task (~100 English words), which may include political or economic topics.
• Higher rates may be offered to candidates who participate in the interview.
• If you are unable to attend the interview, a free offline test is also acceptable
