Job Description: Freelance linguistic LQA tester
Location: Remote
Company: Level Infinite, Tencent ILC (Infinite Localization Center)
/Language Pairs (1-3 LQAs per pair):
*CHS- EN / ZH-TW
*KO-EN / JA / ZH-TW
/Requirements:
i. 2+ years full-time LQA testing experience or 800+ verifiable in-game testing hours (linguistic testing)
ii. Proficiency with defect tracking tools (Jira, TAPD, Redmine, or similar)
iii. Sharp eye for linguistic errors (grammar, terminology, cultural adaptation)
iv. Gaming project experience is a strong plus.
/Responsibilities:
i. Execute hands-on linguistic testing on target devices to identify translation, terminology, and cultural adaptation issues.
ii. Log and track linguistic defects using Jira/TAPD.
iii. Ensure all translations adhere to project style guides and glossaries.
iv. Collaborate with global teams to enhance localized content quality.
v. Liaise with translators and provide actionable feedback.
vi. Coordinate with dev teams, LQA PMs, and testers to resolve issues.
vii. Proactively identify and escalate localization risks.

• Focus on linguistic LQA (non-functional)
/Plus:
• Game translation/editing experience.
• Extensive gaming background.
