Indonesian Creative Writer (24 hrs/week) – Voice Assistant Dialogs
Responsibilities
• Write and edit dialogs for the voice assistant based on cultural events, holidays, or other relevant data in the Indonesian-speaking region
• Write dialogs for the voice assistant on sensitive topics, based on a global brief
• Help evolve the voice assistant as a distinct and recognizable character in Indonesian, while maintaining consistency with global guidelines
• Refresh and refine existing voice assistant dialogs
• Act as an Indonesian language expert and provide input for various features and voice development
• Translate and adapt voice assistant dialogs from English into Indonesian
• Perform quality assurance (QA) of responses
• Develop editorial guidelines for the Indonesian language, including a large number of usage examples
• Develop evaluation criteria and guidelines for assessing dialog quality
Location
Strong preference for candidates based in Indonesia or other regions where Indonesian is widely spoken
(Remote work possible)
Working Hours
24 hours per week
Language Requirements
Professional fluency in Indonesian is essential
Strong command of English is required for back-translations and collaboration
Key Qualifications
• Excellent writing, copy-editing, and summarization skills
• Ability to adapt to different tones and writing styles
• Ongoing and deep familiarity with Indonesian-language culture, news, and traditions
• Experience in character-driven, conversational writing
• Strong understanding of pop culture and current events in the Indonesian-speaking region
• Senior-level writer with over 5 years of relevant experience
