Job Description: Freelance Translator
Location: Remote
Company: Level Infinite, Tencent ILC (Infinite Localization Center)
Language Pairs (1-2 TEPs per pair):
*KO – JA / ZH-TW
*CHS – KO
Responsibilities
Translation Tasks: Translate in-game text, dialogues, manuals, and other content from the source language to the target language, ensuring accuracy and fluency.
Cultural Adaptation: Understand the cultural background of the target market to ensure translations are not only linguistically accurate but also resonate with local players’ cultural habits.
Requirement:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of gaming-related translation experience or 4 years in other fields, with over 500,000 words translated in gaming.
Output: Average daily output of 2,500+ words.
Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of game genres and mechanics, including knowledge of game lore and character development.
Preferred: Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience
