I have a technical manual with about 10,000 English words (2000 words repetitions, so only 8000 words for translation) that needs to be translated into German for Switzerland. The text has already gone through Google translation, so the translator will be performing MPTE (post machine translation editing).
The deadline is quite flexible, but the translator must be able to use a CAT tool such as Trados, Déjà Vu, memoQ, or WordFast.
The instructions are quite simple with only some technical terms, and I believe that the Google translation should be quite high-quality for such straightforward text.
I am also trying to use this opportunity to build an German team for long-term cooperation.
Google translation will be provided for MPTE.
Must use a CAT tool such as Trados, Déjà Vu, etc.
The project is due Thursday, June 29, 2023.
