VerbiVista (a co-firm of Mali Trans) is building a small, trusted pool of two sworn translators to deliver embassy- and authority-compliant certified translations (English↔German) for clients submitting personal and educational documents in Germany.
Scope: certified translations of diplomas, transcripts, birth/marriage certificates, police certificates, employment letters and other personal/legal documents (typically 1–2 pages).
Key points:
Hard-copy signing or extra legalization handled/paid separately if needed.
Workflow: Our in-house DTP specialist will prepare a fully formatted source (MS Word) which will be uploaded into the online CAT environment. Translator will translate, export, insert translator declaration, add signature/license no. and document translation no., and return final files. This minimizes formatting work for translators.
Deliverables per assignment: Signed certified PDF (mandatory) and optional editable MS Word file. Translator must include license/registration number and document translation number on certificate.
Selection: We will shortlist two linguists into our vendor pool after verification and a brief paid practical sample. Ongoing assignments offered based on quality and availability.
Requirements:
1- Officially öffentlich bestellter und allgemein beeidigter Übersetzer (publicly appointed and officially sworn translator in Germany) – OR – demonstrable record of translations accepted by German embassies/authorities.
2- Native or near-native German; excellent English.
3- Min. 3 years’ professional experience with personal & educational documents.
4- Able to sign certified translations (digital or in-person as requested) and provide a standard translator’s declaration.
5- Confidential handling of personal data and reliable turnaround.
