Big Language Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Latin > English Translator to support an upcoming Legal translation request for USCIS employment-based immigration documentation (I-140 / PERM). This work requires high accuracy, certified translation capabilities, and strict adherence to official USCIS requirements.

Responsibilities
– Translate legal academic degree content from Latin into English with complete accuracy in content, context, tone, and terminology.
– Provide QA and MTPE-QA support in the same language pair as needed.
– Ensure the final translation meets all USCIS-compliant or ATA-certified standards.
– Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all sensitive client information.
Requirements
– Minimum of three (3) years of professional translation experience.
– Proven expertise in Legal subject matter.
– Ability to produce USCIS-compliant or ATA-certified translations, including: Certified translator’s certificate with signature and contact information.
– Exact and accurate rendering of academic degree titles, specifically:
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering
– MemoQ proficiency required.
– No testing or background check required.
– US-based vendors not required.
