Job Description:
We are looking for a professional interpreter who can assist with business phone calls to companies in Chile. The role involves helping us communicate clearly and professionally with potential customers, suppliers, or partners in their local Chilean Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Join scheduled phone calls with Chilean companies
Interpret live between English ↔ Chilean Spanish
Ensure accurate, polite, and business-appropriate communication
Help clarify technical terms related to seaweed, export, pricing, and logistics (training/brief will be provided)
Requirements:
Native or near-native proficiency in Chilean Spanish
Strong command of English
Experience in business interpretation (phone or video) is preferred
Professional communication skills
Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
Available during Chile business hours (GMT-3)
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the seafood/seaweed/agribusiness industry
Experience contacting Latin American companies for B2B leads
