We are the GienTech Language Services Team. We are looking for Subtitling Specalists for our long-term project—the [Latin-American Spanish] Dubbing Review and Check Task.
Below is an introduction for your reference:
1. Task Type: Short Drama Dubbing Review—Subtitle Text and Timeline Proofreading
2. Task Background: Subtitle files were originally timed and translated based on the original video’s audio. After foreign-language dubbing, differences in speech duration between languages and minor colloquial adjustments to the script during dubbing cause the subtitle timeline and content to no longer perfectly align with the dubbed video. Therefore, a review and timeline adjustment is required to synchronize the subtitle timing and content with the dubbed version.
3. Task Duration: Ongoing project with monthly assignments. Consistent quality leads to long-term collaboration.
Requirements:
1. Excellent listening, reading, and writing skills in 【Latin-American Spanish】 language. Must accurately transcribe audio and identify dubbing issues.
2. Proficient in subtitle software (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit).
Plus: Familiar with timeline creation and subtitle conventions; capable of timeline calibration.
3. Flexible schedule with ample availability preferred.
4. Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of completing tasks on time and to specifications.
