500-Hour Japanese English Full-Duplex Speech Collection Project
Equipment Requirements: Participants must use a microphone connected to a sound card and a laptop, recording through our multi-channel recording tool.
Participant Requirements: Japanese native speakers communicating in English, with a basic level of English proficiency.
Collection Volume: Approximately 300 groups (600 participants).
Recording Duration: Up to 2 hours per group.
Notes:
1.The recording software must use our company’s multi-channel capture tool.
2.The laptop needs to be connected to the sound card + microphone for recording.
3.We can remotely help them complete the configuration of this multi-channel tool.
4.It is necessary to use a microphone for recording, however, our scenario requires two recorders to be in different rooms in the same place in order to connect their two microphone cables to the same sound card. This is how my picture shows it
pls note Japanese natives who can speak English need gathering in one place and each pair need recording in two seperate room
