Part-time Medical Device Localization Native Translator

Job Responsibilities:
• Translate and localize medical equipment documents (e.g., User manuals/IFUs, Technical Specifications, Compliance Docs, Training Materials).
• Ensure translations adhere to the terminology and style guides of major medical equipment manufacturers.
• Use CAT tools (Trados/MemoQ) to manage translation memories and terminology databases, ensuring consistency across projects.
• Participate in terminology management and perform QA proofreading.
Job Requirements:
• Native-level bilingual proficiency (certification or official proof required).
• Translation experience in the medical device industry, specifically with User Manuals/IFUs and Imaging Products.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Medicine, Engineering, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical equipment localization experience.
• Proficient in using MemoQ or Trados for translation projects.
• Familiarity with medical industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485) and a strong commitment to the precision of technical documents.
• Preference will be given to candidates with professional translation certifications (e.g., Sworn Translator, ATA , NATTI).
