Task description: According to Review Evaluation Criteria, compare the original text and rate different translation versions.
Task type: Language Quality Evaluation (LQR & LQE), Translation
LQR – only evaluate, score, and comment
LQE – evaluate and update the translation (i.e. LQR + correct translation provided)
Language pair: Chinese><multi-language, English><multi-language
(Includes: Russian / Polish / Italian / Turkish / Indonesian / Arabic / Japanese / Korean / Hindi / Dutch / Thai / Vietnamese / Hebrew)
Number of people to be recruited: at least 3-4 people for each language pair
Project time: long-term project, ongoing
Work platform/tool: Excel, or an online shared document platform. Does not involve a too complicated work platform.
Payment: Billed by word. The rate will be confirmed based on the specific language and test results.
Principle of word counting: For LQR and LQE tasks, the same original text involves multiple model evaluations. Starting from the second model, the number of billed words is calculated as 50%; (For example: if the original text is 1,000 words and a total of 3 versions of the translation results need to be evaluated, the number of billed words is: 1000+1000*50%+1000*50%=2000 words)
Qualification requirements:
1) Applicants with a professional background or native in the corresponding language. Meanwhile, proficiency in both Chinese and English are preferred (students and non-native speakers are acceptable, the content is not difficult, and understanding of the rules is more important)
2) Experienced in translation for at least 1 year.
3) Available for long-term cooperation, have sufficient time to support the project, and respond promptly.
4) Free test required.
