Are you passionate about gaming and experienced in translation? TransPerfect Gaming is looking for freelance SIMPLIFIED CHINESE to THAI gaming translators and proofreaders to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You’ll work on everything from indie games to AAA titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for THAI players.
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✅ Native-level proficiency in THAI
✅ Strong command of SIMPLIFIED CHINESE and ENGLISH
✅ Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization and expertise in proofreading (CHINESE> THAI)
✅ Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games
✅ Familiar with gaming terminologies
✅ Follow instructions on handling tags and character limits
✅ Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)
✅ Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
✅ Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment
🔹 Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):
📌 A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
📌 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
📌 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
📌 A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
