Job Responsibilities:
To ensure translated audio content matches the source in meaning, style, and technical quality while meeting localization standards.
Translate and localize medical equipment documents (e.g., User manuals/IFUs, Technical Specifications, Compliance Docs, Training Materials).
Ensure translations adhere to the terminology and style guides of major medical equipment manufacturers.
Use CAT tools (Trados/MemoQ) to manage translation memories and terminology databases, ensuring consistency across projects.
Participate in terminology management and perform QA proofreading.
Job Requirements:
Native-level bilingual proficiency (certification or official proof required).
Translation experience in the medical device industry, specifically with User Manuals/IFUs and Imaging Products.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Medicine, Engineering, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of medical equipment localization experience.
Proficient in using MemoQ or Trados for translation projects.
Familiarity with medical industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485) and a strong commitment to the precision of technical documents.
Preference will be given to candidates with professional translation certifications (e.g., Sworn Translator, ATA, NATTI).
