We are seeking experienced Certified Shorthand Reporters (CSRs) licensed in the State of Illinois. This position involves producing accurate, timely transcripts for legal proceedings, depositions, hearings, and related assignments.
Requirements:
• Active Illinois CSR license in full compliance with 225 ILCS 415
• Minimum 2+ years of professional court-reporting or transcription experience
• Ability to provide professional references upon request
• Strong command of legal terminology, formatting, and transcript preparation
• Availability for both remote and in-person assignments as required
• Reliable equipment and secure workspace for transcription tasks
Responsibilities:
• Attend and record legal proceedings (remote or onsite)
• Produce clear, accurate, and complete transcripts meeting required standards
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical rules and court-reporting guidelines
• Communicate proactively with our scheduling and production teams
