We are seeking detail-oriented and highly efficient Transcribers / Translators to convert diverse audio and video content into accurate text. A key component of this role involves training material development, and transcribing content specifically to train and refine cutting-edge AI models, ensuring the highest quality data input for advanced machine learning applications. This role offers flexible, remote work to meet the required weekly commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
A. AI Data & Transcription Operations
High-Quality and Accurate Transcription of a variety of audio and video files, including general business, technical, conversational, and complex legal/medical content.
Develop assessments and training material to onboard and upskill new transcribers
Adherence to Standards of project-specific style guides and quality standards for all transcription output.
AI Training Data Preparation focused on transcribing nuanced and diverse language samples (e.g., accents, varied speech styles, challenging audio) to improve the robustness and accuracy of AI speech recognition models.
Data Integrity requires performing thorough quality checks and proofread your own work to ensure zero to minimal errors, striving for “one-pass” quality output.
Process Improvement by reporting complex or repetitive transcription challenges and offering suggestions for style guide or process adjustments that could enhance AI data quality.
Technology Adoption to quickly learn and efficiently utilize proprietary transcription software, annotation tools, and new technologies relevant to AI data labeling and preparation.
B. Quality & Efficiency
Collaborate with the US team to coordinate and align work priorities, timelines, and quality standards
Time Management requires accurately assessing the complexity and length of transcription jobs and consistently meeting or exceeding established turnaround time (TAT) targets.
Conduct Peer Review (as assigned) of other Transcribers’ work to ensure consistent adherence to quality and style standards across the team.
Confidentiality and security of all client and proprietary AI-related data and information.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Prior professional transcription with at least 1 year of experience, or detailed data entry experience is highly preferred.
Language: Native-level written and verbal English skills (superior grammar and spelling).
Attention to Detail: Meticulous, organized, and highly analytical to accurately capture subtle audio when there are multiple speakers and background noises.
Typing/Annotation Speed: Proven ability to type quickly in your native languages, and maintain high accuracy during complex data annotation/labeling.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word and comfortable quickly learning new proprietary software/tools.
Professionalism: Strong work ethic, commitment to meeting deadlines, and high integrity in handling sensitive data.
Schedule: Ability to manage a flexible schedule to meet a minimum of 40 working hours per week.
