Job Description:
We are an outdoor equipment e-commerce company planning to visit a UK marathon event (e.g., London, Manchester, or Edinburgh Marathon in 2025) to conduct market research. We need a local interpreter/guide to assist with:
Casual conversations with runners, event staff, and potential partners.
Light business networking (e.g., speaking with sports associations, brands, or vendors at the event).
Cultural/local insights to help navigate the event smoothly.
Basic note-taking and follow-up assistance if needed.
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Mandarin (business-appropriate but not overly formal).
Familiarity with UK marathons or sports events (prior experience preferred but not mandatory).
Outgoing and comfortable networking in informal settings.
Knowledge of outdoor/sports gear is a plus but not required.
