Job SummaryThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Team Members in maintaining the qualityof service and product. This position enforces all procedures in the absence of the StoreManager and Assistant Manager. The Shift Supervisor will fulfill any other duties the StoreManager or Assistant Manager assigns and will represent the company in a professional mannerEssential Job Functions; include but not limited to:Assist in supervising a profitable store and creating sales volume growthAssist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficientlyResponds pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service situationsAnswer email and telephone call in a courteous and friendly manner including but not limited to giving store greeting, directions to store location, receiving and filling customer ordersResponsible for ordering coffee, bakes goods and supplies when neededMaintain efficient, friendly service standardsStore OperationsMaintain acceptable amounts of products, baked goods and supplies for ordersDistributes weekly shipments appropriatelyCompletes Daily Reports as assignedPerforms opening and closing dutiesReports potential safety hazards and all employee accidents to Store Manager or Assistant Manager and completes personnel forms when necessaryInforms the Store Manager or Assistant Manager of any operational inconsistenciesEmployee DevelopmentPerpetuates company philosophy and cultureDelegate duties as necessaryAssist in the training of new employeesMotivate staff to maintain quality and consistent productAssists Store Manager and Assistant Manager in educating staff members on all products and servicesProduct KnowledgeEnsure that all customers are educated on our products and servicesConsistently maintain the highest quality product standardsFollow all company drink recipes and proceduresOversee drink making and participates in the re-certification process, monthly under management discretionVisual PresentationAssist in maintaining a clean, well-merchandised storeAssist in following visual presentation plans and standardsMaintains positive company moraleMaintains store as if the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager were presentQualificationsExcellent Verbal and written skills.Well organized and detail oriented.Register and cash handling experience.Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Work overtime, as needed, to perform duties and responsibilities. Work nights, weekends and holidays. Minimum one-year retail experience. Supervisory position in a specialty store or food establishment preferred. Excellent Verbal and written skills.
