OverviewAST is hiring a full time Office Assistant. This role is a direct report to the Clinical Director and is responsible for managing multiple tasks in a busy, high-volume office.For over 20 years, Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy to help children, teens, and adults with autism find success. Our goal is to empower our clients to build the skills needed to live a happy and fulfilling life.Candidates must be able to commit to a Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm schedule. Pay starting at $19/hr.ResponsibilitiesGeneral office duties including answering the phone and door, maintaining supply inventories and compiling monthly order, replacing toner in printer, mail and fax distribution, and photocopyingCreate, organize and maintain office filing systems, send files to storage facilities, as neededCreate and maintain picture library of program materials used during intervention sessionsAssist in preparation for monthly training; create new hire training binders, bags and badgesProcess I-9 Form to verify the identity and work eligibility of new employees hiredResponsible for keeping the office and kitchen tidy and organized, including maintaining office equipment and decorating the area when appropriateReceiving and unloading deliveries of office suppliesAssist with any local inspectors/maintenance crews that need to be called and subsequently let in building, brought to a specific work areaMake sure kitchens are tidy and stocked with necessary supplies (plates, utensils, paper towels, snacks, etc.)Assisting with the Oregon state licensure paperwork and organizationAdditional responsibilities as requested by Clinical Director, Staff Support Manager, or other staffAccepting and forwarding referrals and intake packets to intake departmentQualificationsBilingual, Spanish fluency highly preferredMinimum of 2 years prior administrative experience in an office settingExcellent upbeat telephone skills handling multiple incoming phone linesExcellent customer service skillsExceptional communication skillsStrong software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectivelyStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-throughEducation, Experience and LicensureHigh School Diploma, requiredTechnical SkillsProficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to quickly learn new software programs as neededIn addition to the most competitive salaries in the area, AST also offers Paid time off (PTO).AST/Learn Behavioral is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
