Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant, you will leverage analytical skills to lead a team and oversee the company’s financial activities, accounts receivable, and monthly invoicing process. A Senior Accountant will be well versed in long-term forecasting and possess prior auditing experience, preferably in healthcare, maintaining ownership of their work, experience with monthly closures, business acumen, and leadership skills. This position requires thinking strategically and communicating effectively internally and externally, using tact and professionalism while upholding the company’s financial health and team culture.Position DetailsUnited States- Remote/Telecommute8:00am-5:00pm Est./Cst. Equipment and hardware provided. Interviewing, orientation, and training are conducted virtually.ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting and budgeting.Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Manage expense policy, internal controls, and processes.Oversee and manage the monthly closing process.Manage the billing process and analyze claims data used for invoicing.Implement procedures to ensure the accuracy of invoices.Tactfully acquire and manage account receivables actions.Manage annual operating budget and long-term forecast processes.Establish financial metrics and KPIs to track company progress.Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines.Establish & manage internal controls and processes.Be a resource to the CFO.Complete all necessary continued learning and training requirements per department and company need.Other essential duties as assigned.Requirements and Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics4-7 years of accounting experienceStrong analytical and math skillsGeneral knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in QuickBooks online & SAP ConcurAbility to lead a growing team.PreferredCPA certification (Strongly preferred)Work From Home Requirement(25/25mp) to execute all job functions. Additionally, the employee must provide a privateworkspace with a desk and chair, free from distraction.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsDuties are performed primarily in a home office setting utilizing Company provided computer equipment.
