Our client, a private research university, is looking for someone to join their team as an Administrative Assistant in Chicago, Illinois. *This is a 2 month W2 contract* In this role, you will partner with staff members to provide broad administrative support, including oversight of academic appointments, medical staff privileges, recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, and promotions. What You Will Be DoingWork with Human Resources (HR), to manage various HR needs, including hiring, termination, time and attendance, payroll, as well as employee and labor relationsResearch, compile, and analyze data to create reports, proposals and business plansManage day-to-day facility issues and monitor overall environmentAssist faculty in the pursuit of grants and awardsConduct special studies and projects, including the development and enhancement of funding opportunities by working closely with the faculty in the sectionRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree3+ years of progressively responsible administrative experiencePrevious experience working within a university, clinical setting, or academic medical center environmentPrevious experience in data analyticsPrevious experience managing complex research and grant portfoliosMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
