Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Translation & Proofreading Specialist to facilitate high-quality translations and ensure the accuracy of Spanish-language documents. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, with a strong command of Spanish grammar. The ideal candidate will manage internal and external translation requests, work under tight deadlines, and make independent decisions when needed. Key Responsibilities:Translate and proofread Spanish-language documents with precision and clarity.Ensure consistency, accuracy, and proper grammar in Spanish translations.Collaborate with internal teams and external translation vendors to meet quality and timeline expectations.Manage and prioritize multiple projects, adjusting to shifting deadlines and business needs.Apply basic InDesign skills to format translated materials as needed.Uphold organizational standards and continuously seek ways to enhance the consumer experience.Required Qualifications:Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written); must pass a language proficiency test.Excellent Spanish grammar and proofreading skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.Proven organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Bachelor’s degree or graduate certificate in Spanish translation, linguistics, or a related field.Basic proficiency in InDesign.Experience in project management and handling multiple stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Three or more years of experience in Spanish proofreading or translation.Experience collaborating with and managing external translation vendors.Additional Information:Work Location: Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred).Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (ET/CT).
