Urdu to English Subtitles for a Travel Documentary

This is a LONG TERM Project :

15 Episode YouTube Series on my Travels from China Border to Iran Border in Pakistan.
Episode 5 is to be released this Sunday 6th April

I am looking for an experienced subtitle translator to create concise, well-written English subtitles for my 15-episode YouTube documentary series. The series is in Urdu and English, and I need someone who can translate in a smart, engaging way—without overloading the screen with text.

Key Requirements:
• Must watch the footage and understand the context to translate naturally, NOT literally
• Minimal, easy-to-read subtitles—only translating what’s necessary for the audience to fully understand the conversation. Not everything has to be translated! You will need to be smart and pick out parts that need text and understand what can be skipped.
• Must have a strong command of both Urdu and English
• Ability to sync subtitles accurately with dialogue
• Fast turnaround—Episode 5 must be completed by Friday, April 5
• Consistent availability—this is a long-term project covering Episode 5 to Episode 15 over the next 5-6 months
• Must be available on WhatsApp for easy communication

Before hiring, I would like to do a trial to see how you handle the translations. This will help ensure your style matches what I need. Please see the 2-minute video above. This is a scene out of Episode 5
