We are currently onboarding Ukrainian (and Russian) into English MT post-editors and translators for an ongoing legal project that will take place over the next two months, for a longstanding and trusted client law firm. Some documents will require MTPE, and others will require standard human translation, depending on our client’s requirements.
We currently use Phrase, and have seen successful results in all languages we’ve so far run through the machine. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide existing MT packages for this project.
I cannot provide at this stage an accurate or reliable gauge of total volume over the period, however we expect work to be ongoing (beginning within the next couple of weeks), and there will be future opportunities for translation and MTPE collaboration with this and other Legal clients.
Please only apply if one of the three following scenarios applies to you (in keeping with our ISO-18587 certification standards):
– You have a BA or equivalent (or higher) degree in Translation/Language studies;
– You have a BA or equivalent (or higher) degree in a subject unrelated to translation, and can demonstrate 2+ years’ translation experience through referencing;
– You do not have a BA or equivalent degree, however can demonstrate 5+ years’ translation experience through referencing.
Please provide your rates for both MTPE (as the sole post-editor), and first and second-round MTPE (as part of a post-editorial duo).
