Saga Translations is a Brooklyn-based translation service that provides English subtitles for raw footage for international news reporting and documentaries. We have worked with multiple series on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.
We are currently hiring linguists who can create English subtitles (.srt format) for 5 to 30 minutes of raw footage per day in Mandarinn for a documentary project on League of Legends.
The raw footage assigned will include:
– interviews with esports teams
– footage of the esports teams competing during tournaments,
– other vérité footage (scenes of teams at home with friends and family, cooking meals, traveling, etc.). The
NOTE: The footage is expected to contain heavy use of League of Legends-specific jargon (specific game characters, mechanics, acronyms, etc.). Only those with a background in the game should apply.
Assignments are immediately available. This project is expected to go through late April.
Invoices will be paid net 30 via bank transfer.
