We have a new MTPE project and below are the project details:
• Content: Samsung FAQ content
• Task: MTPE Light
• Frequency: multiple handoffs each week, each including more than 500 words, requiring 2-3 day turnaround time
• Domain: Software UI, General
• CAT system: we will use Phrase TMS.
Unlike full MTPE, it is enough to provide only one step in case of Light MTPE (so you will need to engage only a post-editor without additional proofreading by another linguist). Expected productivity for this task is approximately 1000 words/hour (please note that we will engage several vendors in this project, depending on the volumes you can handle).
The main task is checking for major issues, unreadable lines, mistranslations, omissions or unnecessary additions. In other words, you will be looking for evident major linguistic mistakes that are easy to spot in the translation.
