As a Dialogue List Transcriber, you’ll be responsible for:
• Dialogue List Creation: Create list of dialogue and non-dialogue elements of a script.
• Accuracy: Make sure the timecodes match with the script and the lip movement in every scene, not too fast but not too late either.
• Continuous Learning: Embracing new challenges and adapting gracefully.
• Pressure-Pro Handling: Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Task Summary:
• Create Timecodes (Timecode In, Timecode Out) and Dialogues (verbatim) by each character name.
• Identify the speaker or character names.
• Insert human sound descriptions that is produced orally.
• Transcribe visible plot-pertinent on-screen text & narrative title.
• Identify whether it is On-Screen Text, Narrative Title, Main and Ends, Song, or Ditties.
Qualifications:
• Have good listening skills and high attention to detail on graphics.
• High attention on project details and storyline on identifying graphic relevance.
• Familiar with various TV series and movies, culture would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in subtitling is preferred.
• Positive, can-do spirit, proactive, result-driven, and resourceful.
• Willing to learn new things and enjoy new challenges.
• Able to strictly follow guidelines.
• High responsibility and punctuality are a must.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints.
Conditions:
• This is a freelance position with no limitation as to the location.
• Payment is made via PayPal or Payoneer within 30 days of receiving the original invoice (non-negotiable).
