We are looking for candidates who want to get a grasp of translation in General domain (It could include some source related to Game, Healthcare, Law or Finance, but most of the source are in general domain).
Overview:
You’ll need to translate the source into your locale language. Sources are randomly crawled by AI from various web pages, so it covers a variety of topics and fields. If some sources are difficult to understand due to lack of context, please search for relevant information by yourself. We will provide two versions of machine translation for your reference. Kindly note that the machine translations may not be completely accurate, hence, please use your best judgement with your searches to provide correct translations.
Main requirements:
You are a native speaker of either the target or the source language.
You have access to a laptop and a good internet connection.
You’re good at searching for information.
You have a Translation or Linguistics background, such as a BA or MA.
You have previous experience in translation.
You have previous experience working with CAT tools. This is not mandatory but will be valued.
You can commit to 4-8 hours a week. We are very flexible with schedules, but we expect a minimum number of hours per week.
