We’re seeking a skilled technical translator to proofread and edit our Chinese translation of an Excel-based tool and a brief introductory Word document. The tool, originally in English, contains approximately 10,000 words and relates to energy use, energy efficiency, and electrification of heating in the textile industry. With a focus on technical terminology, we need a freelancer with experience in technical translation to review and refine our Chinese translation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Your responsibilities
– Proofread and edit the Chinese translation of the Excel-based tool (approximately 10,000 words)
– Review and refine technical terminology related to energy use, energy efficiency, and electrification of heating in the textile industry
– Proofread a 1.5-page introductory Word document (already translated into Chinese)
– Ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the translation
– Experienced technical translator with a strong background in Chinese translation
– Familiarity with technical terminology related to energy and industry
– Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
– Proficient in Excel and Word
