1h 30 m court assignment, 22.01.25, Birmingham

My client has a court hearing on the 22nd January 2025 in Birmingham. They need an interpreter to ensure they understand what is happening and don’t miss anything.

At the hearing, the interpreter will be required to interpret the Defendant’s evidence when she is cross examined and when she is speaking with her barrister.

I expect the cross examination will last no more than 20-30 minutes and the barrister may just want a quick discussion with the Defendant before the hearing. So, an arrival time would be at least 20 minutes before the hearing in order that the interpreter and the Defendant and the barrister can meet to prepare.
