Our translation company seeks British English translators / proofreaders for a long-term collaboration.
This specific task consists in proofreading and correct texts written in English by UN agencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
– At least 5 years of professional experience in translation and proofreading.
– Prior experience with UN agencies is a MUST.
– Native in British English (with Oxford spelling).
– Degree in translation, linguistics, or related field.
– Familiarity with UN terminology and CAT tools (e.g., Trados, memoQ).
– Good communication skills
– Capable of understanding and following instructions
– Proven ability to deliver high-quality translations under tight deadlines.
– Taking the time to do appropriate research is a must.
