Details of the project: We are looking for a Japanese to Tagalog interpreter for an interpreting project for the following activities in Manila, Philippines:
1. Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Techniques Course
– Interpreter: 1
– Language: Japanese <-> English/Tagalog
Period: February 10-14, 2025 (5 days), 0900-1700 (8h/day)
– Instructor: Japan Coast Guard Officer
– Course Participants: 10-20 Philippine
– Coast Guard personnel
– Details: Lectures and hands-on exercises
2. Arresting Techniques Course
– Interpreter: 1
– Language: Japanese <-> English/Tagalog
– Period: February 10-14 & 17-21, 2025 (10 days), 0900-1700 (8h/day)
– Instructor: Japan Coast Guard Officer
– Course Participants: 10-20 Philippine Coast Guard personnel
– Details: Hands-on exercises
Requirements:
– Fluency in Japanese and Tagalog
– Prior interpreting experience, preferably in a similar field
– Availability for the specified dates
– Ability to be physically present for the assignments
