Korean-Speaking Translator – South Korea

As a translator, you will play a pivotal role in adopting, translating and localising online content for multiple company brand websites, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency with brand guidelines. The main responsibilities of the position include:

Under the direct coordination of the Content Marketing Localisation team, you will be responsible to translate, localise and proofread English to Korean content, including multiple websites, landing pages, country-specific promotions, client communications, social media, paid advertising, visual materials (both online and offline), mobile app content, forex articles, and client registration/onboarding workflows.
Apply a deep cultural understanding of adapting translated content to the local Korean market in order to ensure it is aligned in terms of accuracy, tone, style, technical/financial terminology, and user intent.
Maintain rigorous quality control and time management to deliver high-quality results, including solid SEO (search engine optimisation) best practices.

Main requirements:

Degree in translation, linguistics, language studies or a translation certificate
At least 3 years of experience as a translator
Experience in the financial services industry would be a plus
Solid knowledge of handling HTML content
Experience with a localisation software, including TMS (Translation Management System)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
