Project Details:
We are currently looking for local candidates for the role of Explicit Language Screener to support a song lyrics project. Below are the requirements and profile.
Work scope of the Explicit Language Screener:
Reviewing song lyrics.
Time-stamping explicit content.
Translating critical explicit words into English, following the client’s requirements and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Listen to songs in your native language.
Use the client-provided tool to flag explicit content in English.
Utilize transcribed lyrics for most songs.
Preferred Skills:
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Familiarity with the local music scene, including slang and puns.
Open-minded and adaptable.
Excellent time management.
Intermediate proficiency in English.
Extra information:
The purpose of this project is to identify and time-stamp content deemed inappropriate or offensive according to various standards, to comply with cultural, legal, and societal norms. So the Explicit Language Screeners need to review the whole lyrics (most songs would be Hip-Pop) and mark the explicit part of each line and then rate the category per instruction, as well as provide a backtranslation into English.
Free Test is required:-
About the Test, each candidate needs to take it individually. Based on our experience in processing other languages, the average time spent on the test would be 30 min on average. If the song duration is less than 6 min, it could be completed within 15-20 min, and for songs longer than 6 min, 30-45 min would be enough to complete the test. The test content would be Hip-Pop songs with Explicit words.
Rate: $2,75 per song (Song duration: 6 min or less), $3,75 per song (Song duration: Above 6 min)
