We are currently seeking Japanese into English linguists experienced in patent text translations.
Project Details:
The project involves post-editing and/or translation of Japanese patent texts into English. Examples of work include:
• Translating patent abstracts and abstract reference drawings (in image format).
• Post-editing opinions of the Searching Authority and Reports on Patentability.
Volume:
• Post-edit/translation: 50–300 files per week (approximately 700 words per file).
• The volume may increase based on demand.
Requirements:
If you’re interested, please provide the following information:
– Relevant experience – Patent text translation (Yes/No)
– Your rate per word for translation
– Your rate per word for MTPE
– Your native language
– If you accept PayPal (preferred), Wise, or UK bank transfer for payment
– If you accept payment within 45 days
– A link to your professional profile (e.g., Proz.com or other professional sites)
