We are currently seeking Native and Experienced Japanese to English translators and Editors with solid knowledge and expertise in PCT documents (patent abstracts and patentability reports (WOSAs and IPRP2s)) for a long-term post-editing and translation project. To participate in this project, you will have to sign and submit a commitment to the contract and will have to take two proficiency tests. We shall handle around 30 to 40 documents biweekly. And there is a twelve-month probational period.
Ideal candidates must have:
1) Native proficiency in Japanese and English is.
2) Solid mastery of the terminology of patent abstracts and patentability reports .
3) Proficiency in online CAT tools
Documents to provide:
1) Recently updated resume with patent translation experience
2) Your rate card for post-editing and translation
3) One reference letter
4) Two professional referees with their contact details
