Hello,
My name is Dawid and I am in charge of the localization department at a Hong Kongese company, Impala Services.
I am on the look-out for specialists who can translate from German to Danish. Our current DE>DA translator is having a career change, so it creates an opening in our team of external Danish translators.
What would make you stand out?
1. No surprise – quality translations.
2. Familiarity with termbases (usage, verification).
3. Familiarity with translation QA tools.
4. Client-oriented approach.
All in all, I enjoy working not only with fervent translators but also with translators that adept in translation-related tools. I shall mention that Trados is our CAT tool.
Should this sound interesting to you, then I will be more than pleased to hear from you at the soonest.
P.S. As of 4 November, I have 2 open projects (user manuals of Toaster and Angle Grinder)
P.S. 2. Do not send me a generic application “copy & paste” application, but rather tell me more about your experience with termbases and QA tools.
PS. 3. If you can also translate from English to Danish, then it’s a bonus value added. Although the majority of our projects uses DE as source, there are few projects with EN as source.
Thank you!
