Communications Associate – English/Spanish Translator

If so, this is the role for you.As a Translator of English/Spanish documents in our Translation Services team, you will be responsible for performing high quality translations as well as reviewing translated documents. Your team will manage document translations and the online Translation Portal for the entire JPMorgan Chase firm.Job ResponsibilitiesTranslate documents English SpanishProvide editorial review of English Spanish translationsManage translation project deliverablesUse and suggest resources updates when needed (translation memories, term bases, style guides)Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills2+ years of experience English Spanish Translation and editorial review Native fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish, including great command of grammarAbility to relay the tone and style of the original language and follow style guidesFamiliarity with translation memories, terminology databases, and computer-assisted translation softwareMastery of financial, business and legal terminologyMust pass the written Spanish proficiency test conducted by the recruiter and hiring teamPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsBachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in related field Project management experience, including a strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressureEffective organizational, self-motivated, detail oriented, and leadership skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsTranslation Certification (i.e. ATA) strongly preferred
