English Spanish Translator – Insurance

Responsibilities:Translate written documents, articles, web content, and other materials from Spanish to English with accuracy and attention to detail.Ensure that the tone, style, and meaning of the original text are preserved in the translation.Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and readability.Collaborate with team members and other translators to maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines.Research unfamiliar terms or concepts to ensure accurate translation.Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and address any concerns.Qualifications:Proficiency in Spanish and English, with native or near-native fluency in both languages.Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as a translator, with a portfolio demonstrating previous translation work.Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both Spanish and English.Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Cultural sensitivity and awareness to accurately convey cultural nuances in translations.
