Details of the project: PPD Translate is looking for new linguists to work on our new life science project (additional African languages).

– Language pairs: English – Luganda (Uganda), Luo (Kenya), Chichewa, Setswana, Twi, Nyanja, Bemba, Sesotho, Sesotho sa Laboa, isiXhosa, Zulu
– Translation domains: life science, clinical research, patient facing documents, pharmacology, medical devices, labeling, legal and marketing in medical context and more
– Estimated word count per week per person: approximately 11 000 words (depending on the workflow)
– CAT tool: Wordbee (tool access and training on how to use it is provided by PPD Translate).

Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:
– minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in translation (translation domains: life science, clinical research, patient facing documents, pharmacology, medical devices, labeling, legal and marketing materials in medical context etc.),
– higher education preferred (Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree),
– willingness to use Wordbee.
We want to pay for this job: 10 EUR per hour
