Saga Translations is a subtitling service based out of New York City specializing in the creation of English subtitles for international documentaries, news, and TV series. We have worked with major production teams such as the New York Times, National Geographic, and Vox.
We are currently looking for linguists who can create American English subtitles (.srt format) up to 30 minutes of raw footage of Maasai/Maa language that may be mixed with Swahili dialogue. The footage will be for an upcoming documentary on the diet of the Maasai community.
IMPORTANT:
While we mainly are looking for multilingual freelancers who could create American English subtitles for both Maasai and Swahili, we welcome Swahili > English-only applicants as the footage may contain Swahili-only interviews.
