We are looking for a simultaneous interpreter available to assist with communications across English, Spanish and Portuguese over two and half days in summer (dates TBC).
The conference will be 8 hours in total including breaks (probably around 6 hours actual speaking time), with only one speaker talking at a time, with consecutive speakers in different sessions. It is likely that the majority of the talks will be in Spanish, with only one or two in English and Portuguese. 15:00-19:00 UK time but we’re leaning more towards a 3 hours a day.
The subject of the conference is energy poverty. The speakers will all submit their presentation slides a few days in advance, which can be made available to the interpreters for pre-event preparation.
