As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated team that cares and values those we serve.Benefits offered: In addition to your base pay, you are also eligible to receive:Paid time off, Birthday holiday, and 7 paid holidays.Medical, Dental & Vision,Company paid life insurance.Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramJob Summary:The Interpreter/Translator position is to assist in interpretation throughout the Center, and to improve patient flow by providing patient assistance with completing forms and responding to questions and concerns, interfacing with medical staff and assisting with patient services activities as necessary.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The Interpreter/Translator performs a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:To provide interpretation for patients and staff throughout the facilityTo provide sight and written translation of medical documents Assist management with patient satisfaction surveys. Assist patient in completing paperwork and other guidance as needed.Assist Patient Services when needed to expedite good patient flow.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned including special projects, meetings and help with the completion of reports when identified.Minimum Education/Certifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or formal Social Service/Business/Technical training/education preferred.Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of one year experience in a patient customer contact position, medical background and medical interpretation certification and training preferred. Certified medical interpreter certification must be completed within one month of hiring.Other Requirements: Reliable transportation to travel throughout the service area.This job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
